I’m Dr. Thomas Hanson and I grew up in Southern Illinois, near St. Louis—attending the University of Alabama School of Dentistry in Birmingham. After earning my dental degree, I completed a one-year General Practice Residency (GPR) at the VA Hospital in Birmingham.

Outside of dentistry, I enjoy sports, gardening, and making people smile. I am married, have four children, seven grandchildren, and another on the way.

I have been practicing dentistry for 36 years and have owned three dental offices. For the past 25 years, my focus has been on perfecting one-day denture services. In 2024, I joined Riviera Dental Care, where Dr. McLemore and I set out to integrate one-day mini dental implants with one-day dentures to provide patients with an efficient and convenient treatment option. I look forward to meeting you at our office and helping you achieve a confident, healthy smile.
