What Types of Sedation Dentistry Do You Offer?

In this video, Dr. Jacob Baker explains the various sedation options available at Riviera Dental Care, designed to ensure a comfortable and stress-free experience. To learn more about which sedation method is right for you, schedule a consultation today.

We offer several sedation options to ensure a comfortable experience based on your needs and level of anxiety.

Nitrous Oxide (Laughing Gas) – This is one of the safest and most commonly used forms of sedation. It helps you relax during your procedure, and once it’s turned off, the effects wear off quickly, allowing you to drive yourself home afterward.

Minimal Sedation (Oral Conscious Sedation) – For patients who need a deeper level of relaxation, we offer oral sedation using prescription medication. You’ll feel extremely calm, may not remember most of the procedure, and can undergo treatment without stress or discomfort.

Moderate Sedation (IV Sedation) – For those with significant dental anxiety, IV sedation provides a deeper level of relaxation. While you are not fully asleep, you will likely snooze through most of the procedure with little to no memory of the appointment. This method ensures a smooth, worry-free experience.

No matter your level of anxiety, we have a safe and effective sedation option to help you feel at ease during your treatment.
