What Is L-PRF?

In this video, Dr. Jacob Baker explains how LPRF (Leukocyte Platelet-Rich Fibrin) enhances healing after dental procedures by using your own blood to promote faster recovery and reduced inflammation. To learn more about this advanced healing treatment, contact our team at Riviera Dental Care today.

Over the past year, we’ve been excited to offer our patients LPRF (Leukocyte Platelet-Rich Fibrin) as part of our advanced healing treatments.

You may be wondering, what is LPRF? It’s a process where we extract a small amount of your blood, spin it in a centrifuge, and separate the platelets and plasma. This concentrated fibrin is then used in bone grafts, extractions, and other procedures to promote faster healing, reduced inflammation, and improved recovery.

Because LPRF is derived from your own body, it’s a safe, natural way to enhance healing and achieve better outcomes after dental treatments.

How Full-Arch Dental Implants Restore Your Smile

An arch is a curved, symmetrical structure that spans an opening of some kind. The Arc de Triomphe in Paris, for example, is an arch over 160 ft. tall that towers over a courtyard, allowing tourists from all over the world to walk beneath it. In our own Alabama, just over 5 hours from Foley, a natural arch formation called the High Falls Arch sits in DeKalb County. This [...]
