Can Dental Treatment Be Split Across Two Insurance Years?
In this video, Dr. Chance McLemore explains how splitting treatment across two benefit years may help maximize your dental insurance coverage.
In some situations, if you have a longer-duration treatment plan and we’re approaching the end of your benefit year, it could be a bonus for you because we can use the benefits from your current year for treatment and then roll into the new benefit year and use those benefits as well. Whereas, if we started earlier in your benefit year, you would run out of the current benefits and then not have any more benefits until the following year. We can, again, sit down and talk with you during your consultation about the best way to use and maximize your insurance benefits.
